In those pieces indicted by () Zenhner uses overtone singing next to other vocal techniques. This enables him to sing two intervals simultaneously, that means in a polyphonic way. Since the vibrations of the overtone are very pure, they often sound like whistle or flute sounds - sometimes also like a synthesizer. It is, however, the human voice that we hear. Overtones unfold depending on spacial acoustics (echo), partly succinct or swaying, and are a spectacular experience.
